Crab apples tend to be small fruit with big flavor. This Blue Hewe Cider celebrates the potent tannins of crab apple varieties like the historic Hewe's Virginia Crab. We ferment a lively blend of our pungent crab apples and then temper the cider with our homegrown blueberries. Together these are aged in oak barrels for an intimate fusion of flavors, a delicate sweetness and a sparkling, purple blush.
