This Black Oak Cider was inspired by an appreciation for the earthy mysteries of the black currant, a berry long favored in Europe but still new and surprising to many Americans. Locally grown fresh black currants are fermented and aged in oak barrels and then blended with cider made from a thoughtful selection of our homegrown apples. This confluence of flavors merges oaky tannins, potent currant and lively apple for a complex and colorful cider.
